Join us for our Spring Wildlife Program on Friday March 31st.   This year we are privileged to have Rebecca Watters speak to us on Wolverines. Rebecca Watters is the executive director of the Wolverine Foundation, and the founder and director of the Mongolian Wolverine Project. Annual Trail Cleanup Day

McDowell Marsh Trail Cleanup Day Join us for our Annual Trail Cleanup Day to celebrate Earth Day! We are planning to clean up this trail on April 22nd starting at 9:30 am. This is in preparation for our Environmental Education Days and hiking season. Please meet at the Trail kiosk at the River Camp on the Refuge. Dress for inclement spring weather. Mushroom Foray 2017

A local favorite event! Mycologist Jim Groth and wife, JoAnne will lead an educational mushroom foray on the Little Pend Oreille National Wildlife Refuge on Saturday April 29th. This is a good way to learn more about your refuge. Emphasis will be on collecting morels for the table, but stress will also be put on identification and ecology of all fleshy fungi encountered.
