Mushroom Foray

A local favorite event! Mycologist Jim Groth and wife, JoAnne will lead an educational mushroom foray on the Little Pend Oreille National Wildlife Refuge on Saturday May 9th. Flood, Flowers and Feathers Festival

Flood, Flowers and Feathers Festival will be held at Turnbull National Wildlife Refuge, Saturday May 30th 8:00 – 3:00. The Friend of the Little Pend Oreille NWR will be participating with a booth. Birding Hike

Join us on June 13th: Birding hike with Refuge Biologist Mike Munts. Learn about some of the 200 plus bird species that call the Refuge home. Annual Butterfly Count

This is the Fourth Annual Butterfly Count on the Refuge. On July 11th, we will meet at the Refuge Headquarters at 9:30 am. We will divide into groups and start counting by 10:00.
