Please join us for the Annual Winter Bird Count at the Refuge on January 6th. We will be meeting at the cold hour of 8:00 am at the Refuge Headquarters. When everyone has arrived we will divide into teams to cover as many areas as possible. A warm soup lunch is provided every year by the Refuge staff after the count. Friends can bring other treats to contribute. Bring your binoculars and dress warmly, as we will be outside all morning. Bring your skis and/or snowshoes if you wish, although there are also walking and driving loops available.
