Winter Bird Count–January 13th, 2024

Please meet at the Kiosk at Headquarters at 8:30.

There will be driving routes as well as walking, snowshoeing or skiing (weather depending). We generally bird until about noon. A hot soup lunch will be provided and we will tally the count together.

If you are new to birding come on out. We will have a good birder in every group to help any beginners. It’s also a good way to enjoy the Refuge in winter.

Dress for the season and bring your own water and snacks. The vault restroom will be open for use.
