Winter Bird Count–

January 18 @ 8:30 am - 2:00 pm

We are postponing the Bird Count.

Due to the newest forecast calling for, possibly, over a foot of snow at the refuge the decision has been made to postpone the count by 1 week.
Count date is now Saturday the 18th. Same time, same place, different day.

Sorry of any inconvenience and hope to see you on the 18th.

Stay safe and warm,

Dan Price
Board President

Please join us for the Annual Winter Bird Count at the Refuge on January11th. We will be meeting at 8:30 am at the Refuge Headquarters. When everyone has arrived we will divide into teams to cover as many areas as possible. A warm soup lunch is provided every year by the Refuge staff after the count. Friends can bring other treats to contribute. Bring your binoculars and dress warmly, as we will be outside all morning. Bring your skis and/or snowshoes if you wish, although there are also walking and driving loops available.
